Girls Under Ten Years Of Age Marry. Do You Condone This?

December 22, 2010 11:54 pm 4 comments

At the Patriot Statesman, we want to report stories fairly and accurately.  In the case of the reference to a recent article describing the marriage of 450 girls, under the age of 10 years old, we did not do our due diligence beforehand, and it appears that this one single event did not actually occur.

We regret this article, and have since removed our link to  it.

However, this has led to further inquiry regarding the practice of child marriage, and the following articles illustrate that not only is this practice accepted in the Middle East and Africa, but is being seen increasingly in North America.  It is with great regret that I share the following links with you:

Child Brides

Child bride, 13, dies of internal injuries four days after arranged marriage in Yemen

Canada: Muslim child brides on the increase

Unfortunately, every day young girls are being given in marriage to men several times their age in the name of religion, especially in the Middle East and Africa.  Wherever this occurs, it must be pointed out and we must denounce it.

Where is the world’s outcry to this blatant child abuse, where are the women’s rights groups decrying this, where are all the bleeding heart liberals who have done their best to destroy traditional marriage between a man and a woman, where are the leaders of the free world and the children’s rights organizations protesting this crime?  As I see more and more of the “Religion of Peace” I have to ask myself is no one going to stand up for these innocent young children and tell the world that this is wrong?

It is enough to see the rights of  Christians who advocate marriage between a man and a woman denounced by liberals, but I will not accept this practice of marrying young girls as something that is normal and should be condoned regardless of who it is that supports it!

We need to shine the light of truth upon this evil abuse of children, refuse to ignore it, refuse to condone it and refuse to give one red cent of our hard worked-for tax payer money to those countries and groups where this horrendous activity is practiced.

Has anyone asked the question, “What kind of man would wish to marry a girl under the age of ten years old”?  Can we say “hopelessly perverted”?  Now I understand better what they are looking for when they blow themselves up on their way to seeing Allah!

Regardless of the religious banner under which pedophiles reside, whether it be Islam, Christianity,  or whatever religion one chooses, this behavior cannot be deemed as acceptable.

I am very concerned as I have seen behavior, in my short life time, that at one time was considered absolutely immoral now considered perfectly acceptable in many circles.. Slowly but surely, those advocates of that behavior gained sufficient influence in our society to convince many that their behavior was not only not immoral, but that anyone who believed that it was so was wrong. We do not wish to see child marriage considered normal under any circumstance, and every group that accepts this practice needs to be shunned and made to understand that it will not be accepted anywhere it is found!

If you agree with me, please share this on Facebook, email lists and everywhere you may be able to influence and inform others of this evil practice.

Please help us bear the light of truth upon those circumstances where the innocent are being exploited and abused, whenever this behavior may be found.

  • Child molestation under the name of religion is wrong and we all know it. The way I see it is that evil lives and thrives with in the hearts and minds of evil people.

You want to know why the bleeding heart liberals the NAG’s and other says nothing about child molestation? That’s an easy one, “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John said “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Richard they say nothing because they also live in darkness, they hate us because we are in the light.

  • Hello. I like this blog an d I hope so come again.

  • One thing I do know is that no matter how far we come it almost always seems like we are going to be fighting this fight. People still wonder who killed Jesus , yet so few care about who killed womans rights in all its forms before mans saviour even came along. Keep fighting girls, this is a fight that is thousands of years old and I just hope it wont be thousands of years before we are given the god damned equality we deserve.

  • It is sad but true that in islamic teaching, to denounce marrying a 5/6 year old girl would mean an offense against Mohammad himself. For according to muslim trusted islamic writings, it is very clear that Mohammad had lustful thoughts towards the 5/6 year old daughter of his “brother” in the faith. When he got a “revelation from God” that at age 50, he was to add her to his heram of teenagers and other women, he was allowed by islamic doctrine to “marry” Aisha.

Since trusted islamic writing describes in awful detail some of the sexual encounters between Aisha when she was 8/9 years old and Mohammad was 52/53 years old, and Mohammad is considered by muslims so pure and holy in all that he did that all muslims are called to imitate his example, to denounce child “marriages” means to denounce Mohammad.

While in the Biblical accounts, Prophet David’s adultery with Bathsheba is condemned and David’s repentance psalm is one of the most beautiful Psalms to be read by us all as we turn to God, in the islamic teaching, it is punishable be death to call Mohammad’s actions into question. He is considered by muslims to be equal or greater than Jesus Christ and all the other prophets.

Maybe we need laws like the one passed in Oklahoma to protect our nation against the establishment of sharia law in Texas, even if CAIR and muslims are offended by such a needed act in a civilized society? What do you think?

Russia Declares ‘Holy War’ On Islamic State

The Orthodox Christian Church, which is reclaiming its traditional role in post-Soviet Russia, has just described its government’s fight against the Islamic State and other jihadi groups in Syria as a “holy war.”

According to Vsevolod Chaplin, head of the Church’s Public Affairs Department,

The fight with terrorism is a holy battle and today our country is perhaps the most active force in the world fighting it. The Russian Federation has made a responsible decision on the use of armed forces to defend the People of Syria from the sorrows caused by the arbitrariness of terrorists. Christians are suffering in the region with the kidnapping of clerics and the destruction of churches. Muslims are suffering no less.

This is not a pretext to justify intervention in Syria.

Oregon Shooting – When Tragedy Happens Let’s Focus On The Cause And Not The Tools Used

While the blood was still dripping from those martyrs who, in front of an evil man armed with a gun, asked them if they were Christians and those strong in the faith said they were. He shot them in the head. While those who were lost or weak said nothing he spared their lives and shot them in their legs.

Barrack Hussein Obama angrily ran to the cameras to use this opportunity to say that guns being in the hands of the law-abiding Americans is the problem, and we need to restrict the 2nd amendment to spare the lives of “we the people.”

This is nuts; guns do not kill people, people kill people! You can test this fact in your own home right now. (Do not worry no one will get hurt).

Gun Free Zones Are Killing Zones

How did you feel when you heard of the shootings in Oregon this week? Was the first thing that came to your mind the thought that if we only had stricter gun control legislation, this kind of tragedy could have been prevented?

If you listened to idiotic liberals, like President Barack “Insane” Obama, you might believe that. It is my contention that liberalism is a mental disorder based on the rejection of God and His principles, and extreme irresponsibility.

Where’s the Beef, in Republican candidates, in 2015?

What type of Republican Leader do you want in 2015?

As we look at elections coming up quickly in 2015, as well as the very important 2016 election cycle, what type of “Republican” leaders do you want to shape the future of your county and country?

Do you ever wonder why it is that the current crop of Republicans are not declaring, at every media interview, “These ills have been brought to you by the Democrat Party!” when speaking of Obamacare, the hordes of immigrants being allowed to destroy our country, the Iranian nuclear treaty, the “Black Lives Matter” racial division rhetoric, the attack on the defense of marriage, the 94 million Americans not currently in the work force,

Child protection services Sentences Baby To Death ON 9/11/2015

Child protection services should be self-explanatory based on the simplicity of its name. But they are doing exactly opposite of their name in many places. Wynne, Arkansas is one such place.
