A general sense of apathy seems to have enveloped the country. Great Depression like unemployment has become the norm despite two years of the Obama administration’s constant drone that America is on the road to recovery. Much like the Soviet Union, the president has been aided in propagating one of the biggest lies in history by his willing, albeit dim-witted accomplices in the socialist media. According to shadowstats.com, who uses the old formula for calculating unemployment before it was changed by President Clinton, the real unemployment rate is hovering around twenty-two percent.
Just last week Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke was touting the recovery and insisting that inflation is low. He blamed higher prices on increased demand in emerging markets rather than the Fed’s decision to monetize out debt despite his testimony before Congress that such a policy does cause inflation. According to the Federal Government inflation is under two-percent, however, our friends at shadowstats.com are there to dispel this myth and shows that real inflation is closer to ten-percent.
Of course I understand that the president is going to present things through the prism of rose colored glasses, he cannot just come out and say that America is in the crapper and I led us here. But it is irresponsible for President Obama to go before the American people, like he did on Tuesday, and tell what can only be called a bald-faced lie when he said “my budget puts us on a path to pay for what we spend by the middle of the decade.” In fact it never comes anywhere close to balancing the budget, is loaded with massive new tax increases, and doubles our already unsustainable national debt (to which he’s added more to than any president in history) to more than $26 Trillion. In short, he is going to collapse our economy if Congress does not put a stop to his seditious actions right now.
The president is relying on the American people to accept what he and the propagandists in the socialist media say at face value rather than fact check him. Well I’ve got news for you Mr. President we are not going to let you run roughshod over us any longer. I urge you all to besiege your elected representatives with phone calls and emails to tell them not to support the president’s catastrophic budget.
