Will Cain Get The Palin Treatment? You Betcha!

In his appearance on “Fox News Sunday” this morning, Herman Cain tripped over the Right of Return. How much pain will he feel from the fall? That depends on how much slack certain people are willing to cut him for the stumble, which apparently will be “not much.”

We are reminded of the situation when Charles Gibson ambushed a freshly-minted GOP vice presidential candidate with the Bush Doctrine question in an ABC interview. The difference — aside from the fact that she was just a presidential candidate’s running mate at the time, while Cain is running for the top job — is that she’s been working on her foreign policy chops since then and recently took it to the next level with the hiring of Peter Schweizer as her foreign policy adviser.

Cain rather inexpicably told Chris Wallace that he wouldn’t even start on a security plan until after he’s elected. While we appreciate his candor, it was the Wrong Answer. Too Pelosi, as in “we won’t know what’s in the ObamaCare bill until it passes.” Sure, the lamestream media will let Pelosi get away with that stuff, but they will eviscerate a conservative presidential candidate for it. Wrong Answer on the Right Of Return also. Cain said it was a matter for negotiation, but most Israelis (not just the Likud right) consider it non-negotiable.

Mr. Cain is where Gov. Palin was three years ago on foreign policy issues. Governors and businessmen were not expected to demonstrate expertise on foreign policy in the past, even when they were candidates for president, and certainly not when running for the next job down the pay grade scale. But those goalposts were moved in 2008. There’s no Right of Return to the days of Harry S. Truman, when free passes on foreign policy knowledge were still being handed out to candidates for national office.

The Hermanator is a fine man and a great conservative, but that don’t-ask-me-until-I’m-elected attitude will only serve to get him perceived as cabinet-level timber at best (think Commerce Secretary), not the stuff presidents are made of. Unless he ditches that particular non-response and gets serious about foreign policy, as Sarah Palin has done, the Obamunist media will shred him quicker than you can say, “In what respect, Charlie?”

To our friends who are enthusiastic Cain supporters, we can only echo Bruce Willis’ “Die Hard” character with, “Welcome to the party, pal.” As Palin supporters, we have been there and seen that. This much is indisputable: Sarah Palin is the most vetted candidate in political history. She’s come a long, long way in the past three years, and she’s posted numerous op-eds dealing with foreign policy issues on her Facebook Notes page and in such publications as National Review. These writings reveal how hard she’s studied these critical issues and how well all that work is paying off for her. Herman Cain, God bless and protect him, is just now starting down that long hard road.

  • I do not think so. Herman Cain = More of the same, business as usual. RON PAUL!!!! True integrity!!!

    • You mean pro-Prostitution Paul? he is a fringe candidate/Anarchist that reminds me a the little general Ross Perot.

How can you say with a straight face “Business as usual” about a guy who has made his living in the private sector creating jobs, and say that a person that has been in office for almost 40 years is not. Can we get a little honesty here? I am not sure if he is the one i will support but he is NOT business as usual.

Rick, Cain’s policy problems can be solved by burning the midnight oil with the briefing books. Can’t say the same for Ron Paul. He’s stubbornly wrong on too many issues. Legalize heroin? What could possibly go wrong? Plenty. You can fix ignorance, but, as Texan Ron White says, you can’t fix stupid. Though I’m a Palin supporter, if it came down to a showdown between Cain and Paul, I would take Cain in a heartbeat.

Russia Declares ‘Holy War’ On Islamic State

The Orthodox Christian Church, which is reclaiming its traditional role in post-Soviet Russia, has just described its government’s fight against the Islamic State and other jihadi groups in Syria as a “holy war.”

According to Vsevolod Chaplin, head of the Church’s Public Affairs Department,

The fight with terrorism is a holy battle and today our country is perhaps the most active force in the world fighting it. The Russian Federation has made a responsible decision on the use of armed forces to defend the People of Syria from the sorrows caused by the arbitrariness of terrorists. Christians are suffering in the region with the kidnapping of clerics and the destruction of churches. Muslims are suffering no less.

This is not a pretext to justify intervention in Syria.

Oregon Shooting – When Tragedy Happens Let’s Focus On The Cause And Not The Tools Used

While the blood was still dripping from those martyrs who, in front of an evil man armed with a gun, asked them if they were Christians and those strong in the faith said they were. He shot them in the head. While those who were lost or weak said nothing he spared their lives and shot them in their legs.

Barrack Hussein Obama angrily ran to the cameras to use this opportunity to say that guns being in the hands of the law-abiding Americans is the problem, and we need to restrict the 2nd amendment to spare the lives of “we the people.”

This is nuts; guns do not kill people, people kill people! You can test this fact in your own home right now. (Do not worry no one will get hurt).

Gun Free Zones Are Killing Zones

How did you feel when you heard of the shootings in Oregon this week? Was the first thing that came to your mind the thought that if we only had stricter gun control legislation, this kind of tragedy could have been prevented?

If you listened to idiotic liberals, like President Barack “Insane” Obama, you might believe that. It is my contention that liberalism is a mental disorder based on the rejection of God and His principles, and extreme irresponsibility.

Where’s the Beef, in Republican candidates, in 2015?

What type of Republican Leader do you want in 2015?

As we look at elections coming up quickly in 2015, as well as the very important 2016 election cycle, what type of “Republican” leaders do you want to shape the future of your county and country?

Do you ever wonder why it is that the current crop of Republicans are not declaring, at every media interview, “These ills have been brought to you by the Democrat Party!” when speaking of Obamacare, the hordes of immigrants being allowed to destroy our country, the Iranian nuclear treaty, the “Black Lives Matter” racial division rhetoric, the attack on the defense of marriage, the 94 million Americans not currently in the work force,

Child protection services Sentences Baby To Death ON 9/11/2015

Child protection services should be self-explanatory based on the simplicity of its name. But they are doing exactly opposite of their name in many places. Wynne, Arkansas is one such place.

A baby has been sentenced to death and will be executed on Friday, September 11, 2015 and Arkansas Department of HUMAN SERVICES (DHS) – Division of Children and Family Services- Central Office will facilitate the delivery of the baby’s 10-year-old to the abortion clinic.

On August 29, 2015 20-year-old Justin Smith was arrested and charged with three counts of rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor. His “alleged” victim is a 10-year-old.
