The Theology Of The Left

“It’s not about you. It’s not about your quality of life. It’s not about your jobs. It’s about some phony ideal, some phony theology. Oh, not a theology based on the Bible. A different theology.”

Amen Senator. Rick Santorum delivered some shock and awe while addressing the Tea Party last Saturday in Columbus, Ohio. The Obama administration reacted with condescending disapproval that Senator Santorum would suggest that the President’s agenda could be motivated by an un-biblical theology. Obama is a Christian, of course, they said. Regardless of the personal religious identification of Mr. Barack Obama, the ideology that he and other Progressives cling to is founded on the assumptions of the Theology of the Left.

Ash Wednesday

With polemics prevailing in the current cultural climate, this Ash Wednesday, on which Western Christians begin Lent, the following reading from Isaiah is instructive and useful for reflective purposes: Shout the message! Don’t hold back. Say to my people Israel:
You’ve sinned! You’ve turned against the LORD. Day after day, you worship him and seem eager to learn his teachings. You act like a nation that wants to do right by obeying his laws. You ask him about justice, and say you enjoy worshipping the LORD. You wonder why the LORD pays no attention when you go without eating and act humble. But on those same days that you give up eating, you think only of yourselves [a] and abuse your workers. You even get angry and ready to fight.

The ‘Conservatives’ Complicit With Obama

When Republicans and Democrats unite to prop up a corrupt regime like the Obama administration, it is relevant to ask what purpose, what shared goal unites them. Furthermore, when two such diametrically opposed camps repeatedly, and with almost pathological zeal, advance causes that damage their own political standing and even jeopardize their possibility of re-election, it must be asked what has been promised to these groups of individuals.

Why is so little being done by conservatives in office to counter the damage President Obama is doing to our country? Why does Obama feel he can abuse his office with impunity? Answer: Clearly because those who would oppose him have been placated.

What have they been promised?

Results From The Maine Republican Primary

Romney – 39%

Ron Paul – 36%

Santorum – 18%

Gingrich – 6%

Total of anti-Romney vote: 60%

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a prominent voice among some conservatives, said Romney has work to do to convince GOP voters he’s moved beyond his “pretty moderate past … even in some cases a liberal past.”

“I am not convinced, and I do not think the majority of GOP and independent voters are convinced,” Palin said on Fox News Sunday.

Santorum raised $3 Million in the three days after his sweep in Colorado, Missouri, and Minnesota.
