Today Obama telephoned Sandra Fluke with a word of praise for her brave testimony in front of Nancy Pelosi’s cooked up contraceptive “hearing.” Obama is obviously pandering to the women’s vote, and we will need to remember this incident when we go to the ballot box in November 2012 to vote him out of the White House.
Sandra Fluke, a reproductive rights activist at Georgetown Law School, received national recognition when she testified that we hard-working taxpayers should pay for her contraceptives so that she can continue having promiscuous sex!
However, Fluke (probably unmarried or possibly LGBT) is a law student at Georgetown Law School, one of the most expensive law schools in the country — $23,432.50 per semester. Therefore, when she testified so passionately about the hard times that she is having financially because of the cost of her contraceptives, most hard-working Americans could not quite identify “with her pain.”
Rush Limbaugh called Fluke a “slut,” describing her as someone who is demanding that taxpayers pay for her promiscuous activities, thus making us taxpayers a type of “pimp.” Rush definitely has a point. If we taxpayers pay for Fluke’s contraceptives so that she can continue having immoral sexual relationships outside of marriage, then we are a part of enabling her poor choices.
Today gutless advertisers under pressure from the Fluke proponents began cancelling ads on the Rush Limbaugh Show: Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, and Sleep Number
Many Americans believe in personal responsibility. We know that the only way to avoid sexually transmitted diseases is to remain abstinent until marriage and then to live in a monogamous relationship between one man and one woman.
Why don’t we do our part to push back and call the following businesses, telling them that we refuse to buy their products unless they continue their advertising on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Let’s remind these companies that we will also tell our friends and families not to purchase these products either.
