‘Gangs’ Seize And Tax Coptic Christian Property In Egypt

The plight of Egypt’s Christian Copts, especially in Upper Egypt, continues unabated. According to a new Arabic report, during the last few days in Asyut, “criminal groups and gangs managed to acquire guns and weapons and, as usual, have attacked and abused the Christians to control their sources of income, including to finance their [the “gangsters”] activities. They forced Copts to pay large amounts of money as tax [jizya] in order not to steal and/or plunder their lands.

The El Fagr report points out that no one has done a thing to oppose these gangs: “they simply kill Christians and their families as happened in the village of Shameiya when two Copts refused to pay the tax: the gang killed them and this was repeated in many other villages belonging to the governorate of Asyut. It is becoming so normal now to watch as these crimes against Christians occur day by day and nothing is done.”

Jihad Or Terrorism? The Semantic Arguments Of Islam’s Authorities

A recent Arabic article appearing in Egypt’s Al Ahram newspaper titled “Is Terrorism Jihad?” written by Islamic law expert Dr. Abdul Fatah Idris offers important lessons—from the fact that jihad does involve subjugating non-Muslims to why the Western mentality is still incapable of acknowledging it.

Idris, professor and chairman of Al Azhar University’s Department of Comparative Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Sharia Law, is a well-reputed legal scholar. He begins his article by quoting from various international bodies that correctly define terrorism as violence or threats of violence as a means of coercion.

Idris also mentions how “the Islamic Research Academy, in its report issued on November 4th, 2001, defines terrorism as terrorizing innocent people and the destruction of their properties and their essential elements of living and attacking their finances

NSA Collects Millions of E-Mail Address Books From Americans

I have gone through this rather lengthy and disturbing Washington Post article and have tried to capture the main ideas. I am amazed that the Washington Post, hardly considered to be a conservative newspaper, would criticize Obama and his administration so openly.

Even though Obama said in June 2013 that NSA’s email collecting program does not apply to U.S. citizens, the investigative journalists who wrote this article have used released documents that prove otherwise.

Bottom line: Yes, data, including e-mail address books from Americans, is being widely collected by the NSA.

According to this article, Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have vast authority over NSA and its collection of address books, buddy lists, and instant messaging accounts from Americans (as well as foreigners).

Oath Keepers Establishing Rotating Honor Guard to Ensure WWII Veterans’ Access to Their Memorial

Clearly, Obama thinks that what happened over the weekend was a mere flash in the pan, and now he can get back to his perverse, calculated, vindictive insult to our WWII veterans, by yet again shutting down their memorial. We need to prove him wrong.

On Sunday, the veterans made sure the Memorial was open to the WWII vets, and many Oath Keepers were there, directly helping. There were no Honor Flights on Monday, and on Tuesday there will be another mass protest by The Military Coalition, so, they have Tuesday covered. But our concern is that on Wednesday, and thereafter, when the crowds and cameras are gone, the barricades will go back up yet again, as they did today. There are Honor Flights scheduled for everyday this week, and those WWII veterans need to be guaranteed access too.

Left’s New Crusade: Adult-Kid Sex

So much for the left’s “consenting adults” rhetoric on sex. Forever the consummate conservationists, our self-described “progressive” friends at the ACLU, MSNBC and elsewhere have been ramping-up efforts to downsize from “consenting adults” to merely “consenting” – a far less cumbersome qualifier in the noble struggle for unrestrained sexual license.

Tolerating “intergenerational romance” for “minor-attracted” adults is all the rage these days.

Ever hear of Kaitlyn Hunt? Over the past year or so this poor, misunderstood lesbian woman’s “anti-gay persecution” has become a cause célèbre among “gay rights” activists and other left-wing purveyors of perversion.
