Egypt Wars With Latest Jihadi Group

Egyptian security sources said that last night during heavy clashes with Islamist militant groups in northern Sinai, eight takfiri members were killed (takfiris are militant Muslims who kill other Muslims on the accusation that the latter are not Muslim enough).

The clashes took place in the region of Sheikh Zawid, where earlier reports had said militant groups were terrorizing the civilian population and using women and children as human shields. Sources also said that several weapon caches were destroyed or seized.

Six of the eight slain were members of the jihadi organization Ansar Bayt al-Muqadis, an organization founded in 2011 and primarily focused, as evinced by its name — “Supporters of Jerusalem” — on attacking Israel from northern Sinai.

Al-Qaeda to Morsi: Execute All Christians And Secularists Who Oppose Sharia

Many of the alleged telephone recordings between ousted Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi and Muhammad Zawahiri, al-Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri’s brother, are becoming available on Egyptian media, and will likely be part of Morsi’s February 16 trial, dealing with his alleged conspiracies with various foreign jihadi organizations.

One call is especially telling regarding al-Qaeda’s enmity for secularists, Coptic Christians, and all who oppose the Sharia agenda. I translate portions below:

Zawahiri: “The teachings of Allah need to be applied and enforced; the secularists have stopped the Islamic sharia, and the response must be a stop to the building of churches.” ( An odd assertion considering how difficult it is for Copts merely to acquire a repair permit for their churches in Egypt.)

Muslim Brotherhood Calls On World’s Help, Exposes Treason to Egypt

In light of the overall ineffectiveness of the planned pro-Muslim Brotherhood uprisings during the third anniversary of the January 25 revolution, the Freedom and Justice Party—the political wing of the Brotherhood—is again calling on “the world” and “at their head, the United Nations,” to intervene in Egypt’s domestic affairs, to annoyance of the average Egyptian who resents international interference in their domestic affairs.

In its recently issued statement, the F&J Party declares: “All you free people of the world, all you honorable ones of the world—move fast for [the sake of] the freedom-lovers in Egypt, its revolutionaries and heroes. Stand with principles and urge your governments to take a clear stand against this bloody overthrow.”

MLK: Homosexuality A ‘Problem’ With A ‘Solution’

This past week America honored both the life and noble work of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., a Bible-believing Christian minister who did more to advance the cause of race-based civil rights than perhaps any other person in recent history.

Regrettably – and as they do each year – the same flock of opportunist “LGBT”-activist vultures quickly swooped in, picking the live flesh from MLK’s character-based “dream,” to advance their own behavior-based nightmare.

In what amounts to a sort of soft racism, this mostly white left-wing faction has, over the years, disingenuously and ignobly hitched its little pink wagon to a civil rights movement that, by contrast, is built upon the genuine and noble precepts of racial equality and humanitarian justice.

What was MLK’s position on the homosexual lifestyle and so-called “gay rights”?

Kerry Boasts Of ‘Pluralistic’ Syria Once Assad Gone

U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, was recently interviewed about Syria. While many of his assertions can be debated, one especially requires a response.

Throughout the interview, he repeatedly insisted that, if Bashar Assad would only leave power, everything would go well — especially for all of Syria’s minorities.

In his words: “I believe that a peace can protect all of the minorities: Druze, Christian, Ismailis, Alawites — all of them can be protected, and you can have a pluralistic Syria, in which minority rights of all people are protected.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Kerry declared that “The world would protect the Alawites, Druze, Christians, and all minorities in Syria after the ousting of Assad.”
