Many of us fought hard to put Republicans in office for the sole purpose of taking our nation back from the hands of those who are fighting hard to destroy this nation from within. In 2008 when the Democrats hanging on Obama’s coattail’s swept into office they had little real opposition because the Republican voters had lost faith in those elected who carry the Republican name due to years of saying they are with us then turning to support the Democrat agenda.
After seeing the utter destruction of America from the elected Democrats the Republican voters in 2010, and 2012 once again stepped up to elect Republicans in a desperate attempt to turn aside the destruction of our beloved nation. But time and time again it seems those we elect as our Republican leaders care nothing about this nation, its foundational principles, or the wishes of we the people who fought for them and voted for them. They turn on us at every opportunity and show their solidarity with Obama and Democrats.
Republican House Speaker John Boehner and the Republican House has once again sided with Obama to raise the debt ceiling without any strings attached, not one spending cut. They just close their eyes grab Obama’s hand and sit in silence while Obama digs us even deeper into debt.
In 2008 when Obama took over our debt was out of hand we owed at that time $10 Trillion and now with the help of John Boehner and the elected Republicans we are looking at $17 Trillion. How can anyone justify this as good for American?
But in all this darkness there is one who once again will stand in the gap alone to shed some light on this issue as well as light on the Republicans in the Senate. Texas Senator Ted Cruz plans to object with a simple majority vote, and this could mean another filibuster by Senator Cruz.
From The Blaze “Here’s where his plan will certainly anger some of his Republican colleagues.
The 60-vote threshold will force some Republicans to either side with Democrats to increase the debt ceiling, or go back to the drawing board and push for meaningful spending cuts.”
There are few elected Republicans we can be proud to stand beside these days and I thank Senator Cruz for continually standing in the gap for we the people and for doing what is right even when he stands alone. So once again Senator Cruz will be the loan light in the dark recess of Washington so let the light shine so we can see who stands with Ted and who stands with Obama.
