Allah’s Sword Of Terror

The first time I heard about Khalid bin al-Walid—the 7th century Muslim jihadi affectionately known in Islamic history as “The Sword of Allah”—was when I was in college researching for my MA thesis on the Battle of Yarmuk, when the Muslims, under Khalid’s generalship, defeated the Byzantines in 636, opening the way for the historic Islamic conquests.

Nearly a decade and a half later, Khalid, that jihadi par excellence, has come to personify a dichotomy for me—how the jihad is understood in the West and how it really is: officially, Western academia, media, and politicians portray it as defensive war to protect Muslim honor and territory; in reality, however, jihad is all too often little more than a byword to justify the most primitive and barbaric passions of its potential recruits and practitioners.

Tranny time: U.S. Military Becoming Global Joke

Hold on, I’ve got a good one. What do you get when Joycelyn Elders, Barack Obama and a cross-dressing billionaire walk into a bar to discuss the U.S. Marines?

The few. The proud. Dudes in skirts.

That’s right, we’re moving into the next treasonous phase of the left’s San Francisco-style sabotage of the world’s once-greatest military. In a few short years, “don’t ask, don’t tell” has become “do tell, do flaunt.”

TPNN’s Greg Campbell reported on a recent example: “While Russia invades Ukraine, as Islamic terrorist factions plot the West’s destruction, our service members at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan, are being treated to a ‘gay’ and lesbian drag show.”

CIA Chief: Jihad A Product Of Injustices, Economics, And Ignorance

CIA director John Brennan is at it again—equivocating over the nature of jihad by evoking paradigms familiar to the West.

Last Tuesday, “during an event at the Council of Foreign Relations, Brennan was asked about the ‘war of ideas’ surrounding Islam, which the questioner said many Americans tend to equate with violence.”

The CIA chief responded by saying that al-Qaeda’s ideology is “a perverse and very corrupt interpretation of the Qur’an”; that “al-Qaeda has hijacked” Islam; that “they have really distorted the teachings of Muhammad.”

Even so, “that ideology, that agenda of al-Qaeda,” confirmed Brennan, “has gained resonance and following in many parts of the world.”

Obama Is Sinking America

Although it certainly wasn’t Oscar material, I still love the 1989 film “Erik the Viking,” starring, among others, Tim Robbins, Mickey Rooney, Eartha Kitt and John Cleese. It’s a campy British comedy-fantasy about a band of misfit Vikings on a quest to reach Valhalla.

In one scene, the motley mob finds its way to the island of Hy-Brasil, a happy, peaceful, sunlit land populated by white-robed, free-loving, uber-pacifist morons.

You know, liberals.

Through a series of immaterial events, the island begins to sink into the ocean. As it does, Erik and crew evacuate and re-board the ship while Hy-Brasil’s inhabitants blithely remain, singing out of tune and playing harps, horns and other instruments badly.

Obama Admin. ‘Supports Egyptian People’ By Supporting Brotherhood Terrorists?

Yesterday, March 14, in a meeting with foreign journalists in Washington D.C., deputy spokesperson of the U.S. State Department Marie Harf confirmed, once again, that “the United States communicates with the Muslim Brotherhood but denied that this means it supports the organization… Harf dismissed what she described as a ‘conspiracy theory’ regarding U.S. support to the Brotherhood. ‘This cannot be real, we do not support them,’ she said, adding that they only support the Egyptian people in achieving democracy.”

So what do the Egyptian people think about it? One Egyptian news commentator for Ontv, discussing Harf’s words, summed up mainstream Egyptian opinion with the following cynical words:
