Christian Sergeant Relieved Of Duty For… (Guess What?)

Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk

Another military member with 19 years of honorable service was relieved of duty because his openly-lesbian commanding officer objected to his views that define traditional marriage between one man and one woman.

Fox News has the shocking video interview here, of Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk, who was punished with a sudden transfer when he refused his lesbian Commander Major Elisa Valenzuela’s directive to “re-educate” a younger Staff Sergeant who made a public statement in favor of defining marriage between one man and one woman.

“Major Valenzuela wanted the staff sergeant to be severely punished for expressing religious objections to homosexuality, and in the course of that discussion [Senior Master Sergeant] Monk admitted to his commander that he also has a moral objection to same-sex marriage,” reports One News Now.

“And I was being essentially evaluated as if I had to agree as a condition of employment,” Monk tells OneNewsNow. “I was weighed. I was measured. I was found unfit for my position. And for all intents and purposes, she punished me.”

Watch!  Dr. Chaps 8-minute TV commentary about TSgt Layne Wilson, reprimanded for opposing a gay ‘wedding’ that desecrated the Christian chapel at West Point.

“The lesbian major forced [SMSgt Monk] to be abruptly removed from his leadership position on July 26. He had to seek permission to return to his unit to retrieve personal items, he said.

“I was relieved of my position because I do not agree with my commander’s position on gay marriage,” he told the military newspaper.

These blatant violations of the religious freedoms of and Constitutional rights of Christian troops are so commonplace, that I bet you correctly “guessed what” even before you opened this email.  We MUST take a stand by petitioning Congress today, especially for free speech for our troops.

The above incident is the latest in a series of anti-Christian punishments by the military.

Air Force:  Reprimand Christian for opposing a gay marriage.  Take action!

A Christian Air Force Technical Sergeant with 27 years experience was reprimanded, and faces the sudden termination of his career, His crime?  Sending an email to a chaplain, complaining how the Christian chapel was desecrated by a homosexual ‘wedding’ ceremony that desecrated the Christian altar.

TSgt Layne Wilson was later told to prepare for retirement because his personal beliefs about homosexuality were not compatible with the military’s policies, reports Fox News.

“Last December Wilson wrote a letter to a person believed to be a chaplain at West Point. He stated his displeasure at news of a same-sex ceremony held in the Cadet Chapel.

“This is wrong on so many levels,” Wilson wrote. “If they wanted to get married in a hotel that is one thing. Our base chapels are a place of worship and this is a mockery to God and our military core values. I have proudly served 27 years and this is a slap in the face to us who have put our lives on the line for this country. I hope sir that you will take appropriate action so this does not happen again.”

“Instead of responding to the private email, the Commandant of Cadets notified the Utah Air National Guard – leading to an accusation that he had brought disgrace and discredit upon the Air National Guard and his conduct was inconsistent with the Air Force.”

[Dr. Chaps’ comment: Problem is, the airman has a right to not be punished for his religious beliefs.  And the Utah ANG commander Lt. Col. Kevin Tobias who signed the illegal letter of reprimand (who also declined to comment when I asked him on Facebook), is apparently a domestic enemy of the Constitution who hates religious freedom.  This Commander broke the law, not the airman, since the NDAA 2013 section 530 specifically prohibits reprisals against military members who express their religious beliefs.  Let’s make sure this commander NEVER gets promoted again.  Forward this email widely.]

Why are military chapels being desecrated and Christian airmen punished for opposing that desecration of their sacred worship space?  Let’s demand Congress investigate.
