Michelle Obama Invigorates the Economy By Purchasing $50,000 Worth of Lingerie

The Obama’s are serious about kick starting the economy. They are so serious about it, that Michelle Obama single-handedly tried to boost the “fancy underwear” industry by recently spending $50,000 at “luxury lingerie” retailer, Agent Provocateur.

Some would say that the Obama’s are “out-of-touch” with the American people. Perhaps they forgot that unemployment rates remain extremely high, that a gallon of gas costs American’s twice the amount it did when Obama was elected, and that they have helped accelerate our national debt to a pace that our children will never be able to repay.

To be fair, she didn’t take all those undies back to the White House herself. She invited her girlfriend, the Queen of Qatar – Sheikha Mozah, to join her. They shut down part of Madison Avenue for their private underwear shopping extravaganza while the commoners struggled with the added traffic problems getting to and from work.

The Telegraph states:

Michelle Obama has risked the wrath of cash-strapped Americans by indulging in a $50,000 shopping spree at Agent Provocateur.

The First Lady is better known for shopping at more modestly priced High Street brands. But along with the the Queen of Qatar, Sheikha Mozah, she closed off part of Madison Avenue to spend time in the luxury lingerie shop.

Their purchases contributed to a market-spanking 12.5pc lift in sales.

Agent Provocateur, which is styled on vintage Hollywood glamour, sells handmade Calais lace corsets that sell for up to £900, which could ruffle the feathers of more than just President Obama in an election year.

Personally, I don’t want to think about Michelle “ruffling” Barrack’s feathers.

I also don’t want to think about the elitist leadership we currently have in Washington, willing to shut down entire city blocks to put their expensive tastes on display while we are told we that can’t drive our SUVs, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times – And that we have pull off the bandaid, eat our peas, and keep increasing our national debt.

The White House claims that this story is 100% false, but wouldn’t explain if that meant she did not shop at this store at all, or if the $50,000 amount was incorrect. Perhaps $50K was too modest of an estimate? We may never know.

No matter the spin that the White House throws at the story, the Daily Mail, The Sun and the Telegraph all broke the story and are sticking with it. What do you think of Michelle’s lingerie shopping spree?
